Southwest Rockies are still very rocky. Not snowy. There's a not-small chance many ski areas may not even really open beyond a WROD on an easy run or two. I'm at 7200' in northern NM and I'm watering my trees rather than (typically for this time of year) shoveling snow.
January mountain biking's never been this good. I fear the spring fire season...
