Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Servicing a small portable Honda generator.

I have no skin in the game, just an end user.

In the past, when changing the oil in our small Honda generators, the oil ended up all in the bottom and around the foot pads of the gens.

I get the idea, just seemed poor in execution. Made a huge mess….

Anyway, found a kit on Amazon that ended up a game changer. The kit includes a machined aluminum oil cap with small magnet to capture any metal in the oil. A filler/empty tube that is amazing, and a vented aluminum cap that allows you to daisy chain to a larger fuel can.

Allows you to literally dump the oil (without any mess) into a waste container and filler funnel, all in one.

You can empty and refill in a mater of a couple of mess free minutes.
