It would be tough for me to go from a W140 to a Honda Civic, even though its nice to have newer tech and less stops at the gas station. Something about commanding a MB especially an S-Class makes you feel like you are driving something special and opulent.
To the others above that are confusing the Pano roof on a R129. The Panoramic roof on a R129 SL was the first time in MB's history that they offered a full glass roof on any car, and it was an expensive option on the R129 SL. Not many came fitted with it and so on the used market they sell anywhere from $5k to $8k.
They are a brilliant piece of engineering.
