The folks making the video basically make the videos to advertise for "Carwow" which is, i think, like the British version of Autotrader. So they started making videos, I'm pretty sure on a low budget to grab folks attention and draw them into Carwow I assume their budget allows them to use a short bit of track/runway to do straight line runs. I assume taking high $$$ cars to a real track is a MUCH more expensive undertaking requiring gobs of insurance, track rental, etc....
These guys aren't TopGear. I guess they are similar to the Haggerty videos, but on a MUCH lower budget. I believe many/most of the cars in the videos are private owner cars that were loaned (or in some cases driven by) the owner just for the purpose of making these videos.
If the option is a video like the one above, or no video at all, I'll take something where I get to see and hear the cars is better than nothing. It is impressive that these days street cars are fast enough to absolutely SMOKE the old muscle cars that had been prepped and somewhat intended specifically for the drag strip.
