I wonder when older folks get into a downward spiral how much they are rally aware of everything perceptively. I know when my dad passed he was not happy. I wasn't there and the story seems a little off to me, but I'm told he ripped out breathing tubes. His wife was there.

I never bought the story, but as I said, I wasn't there. I was on my way and was too late. I do know he wasn't happy and had been having a very difficult time with COPD for the last few months. Then he was hospitalized, then sent home. When he had to go back in a few day is when he died.
