Setting up for a cook with my old Anova and my eBay new to me Joule but first ran them both through a descaling cycle with a 50%/50% mix of water and vinegar at 140 degrees for 30 minutes. You cannot see the inside of the Joule like the Anova which cleaned up nicely.





Really like the compact size of the Joule. Got some thick pork loin chops in the Amova that I brined that will go 3 hours at 140 degrees and some glazed carrots in the Joule for 1 hour at 183 degrees.
