If you were successful and well known in the industry, you will never shake it. And you probably wouldn't want to. The big name stars from the 80s and early 90s still make tons of money selling off memorabilia and autographs at adult video conventions. I met Ginger Lynn in a restaurant in LA a while back, had a good chat with her and she sent me a friend request from her real FB account. When I browsed her friends list, there were plenty I recognized from my high school days who were now realtors in SoCal under different names. No one younger than me would likely recognize them. But lots f folks my age and older would. Just sayin'.
