I didn't watch the video.
I've gotta think that a DC will need to be large, quite large, even without an enormous cooling infrastructure that terrestrial DC require. The amount of power and space required for a DC is very large. I also think that they will have to be in a geosynchronous orbit. For them to be useful, they'll also need to communicate with normal latencies. There's no way to have something in a geosynchronous orbit with latency that's not quite long. Can this be done, maybe, but I doubt it, at least not today with the tech that's available.
