Congrats Marty, it should heal well enough to add a touch of grit.

A few weeks ago I had a whole lot of base cell carcinomas on my face so I self prescribed and administered Efudix. It all went well and turned into about 20 big sores on my face. Coincidentally social media said a guy called Bill got roughed up by a dog at a dog walking beach I go to and lots of people thought it may have been me. Then I appear looking like I've been attacked by a Rottweiler haha it gave them a fright. But now it's healed up I have a brand new face like a 20 year old. I should go to the pub and see if I can score an 18 year old.
I have been self-treating my skin-cancers for a couple years now. Wife heard of a product called Curaderm to treat basal cell and squamous cell sites. It is a topical cream that kills skin cancer cells. You apply to the site and cover it, twice daily. The dead skin peels off. Its remarkable to watch it work. I like not having to deal with the surgery and aftercare. I was hesitant to tell my dermatologist when I first told her that I was turning down surgery. Two spots on my right leg she declared clear at a regular inspection. On my recent inspection, she found two sites which I said I would treat, which she was fine with. I have a follow up in a few weeks to check the progress of the Curaderm. This is the Curaderm website, a fascinating story but beware of imitators, https://www.curaderm.net/why-curaderm/.
