Mesa/Gateway Airport isn't very large, might be worth the flight to save on driving. I'm still new to the area, after finally getting settled I'm just starting to explore it myself. Lots of excellent restaurants. Prescott is a cool town for a side trip. So is Tombstone when
you're down Tucson way.
