Good article Shaun, and it reinforces what I’ve been saying for months - garbage in, garbage out. For a LLM that uses the entire WWW as its data source, the problem is the WWW is full of crap. Making things worse, Russia and China are actively flooding the web with fake articles, blog posts, and social posts that contain propaganda or intentionally false information to fool AI tools. Because AI basically just plagiarizes what it finds online, it lacks any ability to discern truth from lies. Which is why you can’t blindly trust it.
