I considered square frames for the legs but the A frame lines up with the cleaver edge which drops below the top by several inches. It just seemed safer. That cleaver is actually a japanese slicing knife and not a heavy chopping cleaver. Good for scooping up the sliced food and kept sharp with the diamond "steel" kept next to it. Funny, the most difficult part of the project was cutting those drop through slots for the tools. White oak is tough stuff
