explain to me how they make sense (not directed to this poster) but I am in NC as well and these things suck. They have made traffic worse and turned a bridge that was full duplex into half duplex and now traffic regularly backs out onto the interstates. That alone mitigates any safety gains of left turns.
In the beginning I found cars coming at me in the wrong direction frequently and I still find them from time to time.
