My daughter was in Boston for the weekend for a training seminar. Her return flight yesterday was cancelled and she didn't make the cut for standby, so she rented a car and drove back to PHL starting mid morning. It took her 5 hours - she reported clear wet roads and light traffic.

We probably had 8"-10" north of Philadelphia per the weather - drifts were well over a foot. Slow going with the snowblower as it was wet and sticky but I got the driveway and walks cleared. Oddly, our road was plowed by dawn - we are usually last on the list. That meant I got to deal with about 3' of plow pile. Fortunately, the snow blower chewed right through it.

4WD pickup with Duratracs had no problem. Roads ranged from nearly clean to unplowed. Very little traffic out - mostly pickups and plows. No one in the ditches so that was nice.

The usual diehards made it to the office. I saw a Camry, a Sentra and a Lexus sedan in the parking lot, so it couldn't have been to bad.
