One minute egg in the microwave - it works

About 3 weeks ago I was on the net and saw a video of a woman explaining how she cooks an egg in the microwave . This past weekend I tried it and was surprised at the results .

Basically take a paper plate and crack an egg onto it . Carefully carry to the microwave , the less you disturb it the more it stays together . When you have it in the microwave place a 2nd plate over the bottom plate . Basically a cover . Cook for one minute and done . I was surprised how good it tasted , I made an egg sandwich out of a buttered bagel . Yummy

Caveats : this method makes a fully cooked yoke . The video I watched said nothing about greasing the paper plate . The egg did come off the paper plate but the next time I think I will spray some Pam on the plate .

It took longer to toast the bagel than to cook the egg . If you are in a hurry this is a quick way to make a breakfast sandwich . This was done in a 1000 watt microwave for reference .
