I just signed up with SF after being with Geico for many years. The carrier policy I had with Geico for homeowners raised my replacement cost almost double from its value the previous year. And that is what drives a major portion of the premiums. They would not lower it and competing quotes weren't much lower. Bye Bye Geico. SF was still higher than my previous policy's replacement cost, but much more reasonable. Insurance cost has gotten out of hand.
