I'm not 100% sure if this is correct. But I have heard you should not put a (non-breathable) car cover on a wet car as it can cause clear coat problems.
I put a cheap outdoor cover on the 911 although it is indoors just to keep curious eyes off it. Id like a cheap indoor cover that breaths and will protect the cat from minor scratches too.
