The "8" on the vintage Florida license plate indicates my county - Volusia County.
Duval County (where Byron lives, aka Jacksonville) was "2".
Dade County (Miami) was "1".
Tampa & St Pete were "3" and "4"
Orange County (Orlando) was "7".
That system was discontinued decades ago......
