Related, I found and have been semi hooked by this Youtube Channel “deandohertygreaser”. He’s a Irish guy who fixes power tools - Makita, Dewalt, Hikoki, Paslode, Milwaukee, etc. So far what I’ve learned is that Milwaukees are built poorly with cheap bearings and they don’t sell the small parts, but you can sometimes fix them with better quality bearings from Makita etc. And that Paslodes are using a cheap fan motor that doesn’t last as long as the older Paslode motors did. He seems to like Makita, Hikoki but says that certain Makita nailers are bad while the latest models are better. Anyway it’s just entertaining.
