I helped one of our newer physicians with a tricky procedure. He was fellowship trained, having done this for years. But he was having issues with this specific case. I knew a few tricks that he had never seen or heard of- case was successful within a few minutes.
He asked how I learned that approach??
Turns out I have been doing these procedures since before he was born.
I felt really really old.
