A few years ago Bill Auberlen's father posted here in the Parts section that he needed some early Turbo trim including the rockers to be taken to Vacaville yesterday. He had what seemed like a play pen posing as a speedometer shop in Manhattan Beach. The business is still there

Anyway I've always had a PU so I contacted him, drove over and got the parts, brought them home and left at 0-dark thirty the next morning to deliver them at noon. Home that night. I did it for gas money just to take a road trip. The buyer was/is a member here but I forgot his name.
I'll never forget his wife though. Can't say anymore as he might be reading. Let's just say
attractive in a to-the-
points way.
