Yes, still the original. I've had it 6 1/2 years, 69k miles, so it's still under warranty. I've seen no noticeable loss of range. The real-life cost of a new battery at the dealership is $8k to $10k, but there are options for rebuilt units for half that. I'm not concerned about the battery. This car has been remarkably issue - free. A TPMS sensor is out, and it has needed two oil changes. I've spent a total of $89 on it in 6 1/2 years. It's about ready for tires, so waiting to change the sensor when I get tires.
