spent months looking for a 99 996 in Arena Red.I had a boxster in that color and truly liked it, Abiut to quit looking when this popped up in my search.Stored a few years in a barn attached shed. Elderly lady owner could no longer drive.She the car 15 years and drove it "like a luxury car."We bought it and drove the 6 hours home in driving rain.
I babied it 25 miles until the highway , then let it rip, she it drove great, no smoke no problems and I brought home a packet full of service records,which are all the way through ownership.
The only thing needed was a paint correction,which I did one handed as that's my disability.I got it inspected and they replaced plugs, changed oil ,got 4 new tires and went on my way. No problems since . I got the paint done myself and it looks great,Enjoying the car a lot.It needed one seat bolster repaired and is in the shop today for that, My third 911, the last one owned for 27 years,I am blessed to still being a Porsche guy,
