Seems to me the rug has been pulled out from under all of the premium brands with ev's. And what are the premium brands worst at? Electronics.
Seems the perfect storm.

You buy a Ferrari for either the badge or the driving experience (or both - well duh).
A decent driving car is now a commodity. White goods. An appliance.
The vast majority of people don't care about driving any more - it's a necessary evil rather than something done for pleasure.
If my $100k Chinese toaster performs better and looks better than my $500k Italian blender then I'm left buying it for the badge. Which means as soon as times get tough the company making the $500k appliance is going to go broke. Again. Because the number of people that care about the badge are diminishing rapidly and there's nothing unique about a toaster.
