About 40 years ago a guy in western Nova Scotia built a full sized F1 car, completely of wood, including the spark plug wires on the Ford Cosworth DFV. I can't remember if it was a March or a Tyrell. It was on display at a Ford dealership near Yarmouth. I can't imagine the hours of work that went into it.
