Following along behind someone who did a "restoration " some years ago and got inventive in their choice of fasteners ( mixed assortment of screws in a single panel, cotter pins instead of roll pins behind the door handles) and attempting to repair ridged fittings with contact cement. And of course there's the hack job of a sheet of metal welded in over the rusty floor.
Nobody twisted my arm to take on this project and I suppose twenty years ago it was just an old beater, but the paint job was done well, as were the rockers. Whoever reassembled the car .....
