Glad to have left.

As you know, I worked outside in the trades for years. Landscape and irrigation mostly but later on landscape lighting.
In Florida, not Alabama but you're right about working through rain showers - but when lightening comes - nope.
I can't tell you (or maybe I can) how many times rain was threatening but it never developed where we were working - or it came through and you thought the day was over - but a half hour later it was gone and the sun came out.
Mostly I took cover and waited it out. Just had to pull a tarp over my tools and materials. Except the plants - I left them out in the rain.

Speaking of which we just had another nice soaking - over an hour's worth. I'm happy!
