wow. my offices are lacking work. its slow for sure.
I resisted hiring an intern this summer, but my boss put the screws to me. he sold the kid. he said what I needed to hear. this young man, is on his second career. quit everything in the wine industry, and abandoned his viticulture degree..shunned it. haha.. It mirrors my own path so I hired him.
this is a full grown man. he is like that kid you see in movies..."why is the sky blue?' But whyyyyy! I kid you not, I get more emails from him than any other coworker.
he is lucky I am retiring soon. because I won't hire him. I like mouth shut, eyes and ears open - at least for the first week. this guy asked for the foreman's phone number on a 40million dollar job..hahahha.. on day two!!!
I need to quit listening to my boss. hahah..
for the record, I was an awesome summer intern.
