Author, back in the day (70's) I probably read and bought most of his books.

Well, he's still kicking, just popped up in my facebook feed. Seeing that name was a "Blast from the Past" for me, and I suspect some of you also.
Smart dude, now he is measuring atmospheric conditions(look for my follow-up post on Parf if interested)
