Autism is hyper-sensitivity to my understanding. Too much information and they shut down in a loop. A stuck loop.
(radio blip on the radio today from a parent dealing with it):
Ask a question instead of blame.
Introduce the idea that there are many paths available.
And that every one of them is wonderful!
That might be right or wrong. But just being there, spending time together, makes more difference than anything.
Love conquers all.
