It would be a different story if there were 2 lanes where she turned into as she might have been at fault for an improper lane change. Sounds to me like she was doing just fine and someone else got a little impatient.
I'd draw that one up in detail with pics and send it to the ins co. Won't make any difference in the long run. Your rates just went up. Could she have avoided this? Maybe and maybe the guy is trying to shift the blame by his histrionics.

I'm assuming 2 left turn lanes, and then she changed lanes into the guy, but that's just a guess on my part. Of course, these days, the other person could be a nutter that goes looking for/creating problems too.
