No gene here either. I was somewhat railroaded as a kid because my mother's side of the family were outdoorsmen, as they were called. I fished but drew the line at killing with a gun. As soon as I discovered girls and cars, in that order, my attention towards outdoor life was reduced to cruising the streets in search for girls or a race, in no particular order. Races were much easier to find.
