I remember the bad old days of Disco, and that song helped start the dance craze of doing the bump. Lots of people on the dance floor bumping their butts against each other. To be clear it was guys bumping buns with ladies, and vice a versa.
Many years after my dad retired from the Air Force, and the dog breeding was over, my mom searched on Ebay when Ebay was new, and found a 45 RPM record of that song, just to hear it again.
