Im curious how many people that liked the movie also liked the books?
I read it in a classics class with a prof who made the book come alive.
For me Nolan has a way of sucking the life out of everything he touches. Watching his movies i feel like im getting lectured about something boring. Cant tell if its the pace, the camerawork or the square shaped story elements. Over organized? His movies just fail to surprise.
Plus a bunch of memorable stuff is just gone. How could he smother such an entertaining story?!
At least he kept the dog.
