They were a band for less than a decade. The Rolling stones have been around forever, and just recently matched the number of number one albums as the Beatles. It is kinda weird to discuss the Rolling Stones with a new album and the Beatles broke up 57 years ago.
Four super talented musicians and they cranked out music and live performances regularly.
