Will the Chrysler Dream Cruiser become a collector vehicle?
The Dream Cruiser Series Editions
Chrysler released five distinct versions of the Dream Cruiser during the lifespan of the PT Cruiser:
Series 1 (2002): Painted in "Inca Gold" with a matching yellow/beige interior and a naturally aspirated 2.4L engine.
Series 2 (2003): Featured "Tangerine Dream" metallic burnt orange paint and came equipped with the high-output turbo engine.
Series 3 (2004): Highlighted by a two-tone Midnight Blue/Silver paint scheme, 17-inch chrome wheels, and the 220-hp GT turbo engine with sequential VIN tracking.
Series 4 (2005): Built as a convertible variant finished in a special "Fluid Blue" color.
Series 5 (2009): The final iteration, featuring retro-themed pinstriping, a choice of pearl white or black exterior, and custom chrome accents.
