But in truth, sometimes I miss the Hot rods, and I cant be the only one, as there are Hot Rod shows everywhere.
Over here we have the Lake George Hot Rods Show, then the Porsche thing up in Lake Placid this year.
Out west, there is plenty!
Even the Winthrop Car show in WA state where one is expected to light up the tires !
I reminisce about the gooder old days when we would show off our cars at the Subdued car show between Herfies and Bunks, where the girls would serve us on roller skates.
The cops did not get mad; they just poured out our beer in the parking lot if we got too rowdy.
Today's kids live in a virtual world and do nothing?
The world keeps changing ..
Now it's coffee and donuts ..with not the same passion.
Yea we are older.
Did we ruin the kids?
Helmets on bicycles or die?
Kids that cant change money back without a calculator.
IDk
We went from horse and carriage to the moon 69 years!
Now AI is goin to do what?

Many of the towns we used to cruise in have anti-cruising ordinances now. The same people that were partaking in their day got rich, old and cranky and put a stop to it.
Unfortunately, the closest thing to that grassroots culture is the street takeover crowd and there's nothing wholesome about that.
