Since I bought it in 92 and have been driving it solely ever since, my automobile consumption over ten years required the production of only one vehicle. Therefore I am only responsible for the pollution and raw material usage of one vehicle alone for over a decade. If I were to get a new car every few years, that would be a different story. People should start to look at the adverse effects of vehicle production in the environment as well. But then again, the lobby is huge enough to shove that one under the rug.
Singpilot, I don't have a boat right now because I don't have time to go to California a lot. It's either live on it or no boat. I have been eying this model boat for a long time. Nautor Swan 38. Produced in the seventies. Most numerous Swan ever produced. I love the lines of this thing. Classic sleek Swan look. Non of that masted kayak look crap you see today. Proven design too. Sparkman & Stephens. I don't think old man Olin ever designed a bad looking boat. Tough as nails too.

That thing is a beaut', Ed! At least we can all agree on that?
