When I sold my watch I just wanted to get rid of it. It didn't have any value to me. But like you, I wanted a fair price. I sold it to a local buyer and didn't look back. Did I get the best price? I don't know, but I'm not stressing over it.
I have some coins that have little market value, but I got them for the historical interest. A trime, no cents nickel - stuff like that. I can show them and tell a story, and I like that. I also have a collection of international paper money with images of cars, trucks, or tractors on them. Again - no value, but of interest to me. To my mind, if it has no personal value to you, then whatever cash you get out of it is a win.
