Back in the day, I bought a set of zipp 202's for climbing. Mounted the tires and got some vicious flat spots. I removed them, tried to clean it, but when I remount them I always get some stretching and more flat spots, which, pretty much eff' things up. Any tips on cleaning glue and mounting a smooth rolling tubular would be appreciated.

Don't know anything about the modern tubs, Leak. But back then, glue was the only means but new tires were a btich to get on not counting having to deal with the messy glue. I would mount the new tires without glue and pump it up to 110 psi to stretch it making mounting with glue so much easier. As far as cleaning the glue, we just used acetone from the hardware store. The trick is to let it soak. Come and think of it, maybe that's a bad idea do for carbon rims. I have a set of 202s but clincher. I never really rode them but on a couple occasions. I found the Enve 40mm profile rim to be almost as light and made little difference. Hell, I am fat and can't climb for siht now, never did climb well
