Tim Curry did complain that this movie "ruined" his career. Typecast. Made it very difficult for him to land other roles after he so thoroughly knocked it out of the park in this role. He was one damn fine actor in the roles he did subsequently secure. RIP.

There was a local theater that did the same thing here. I was single back then and dating a lot of ladies looking for the right one. She had heard of Rocky Horor, but never seen it, and she like Dr. Demento, so I suggest we go. We were the only two in the theater not dressed in costumes. It was a crazy experience with everyone in the audience singing and dancing along with the movie. She enjoyed it, so I enjoyed her.
