I wrap tape using the Euro method (start at the top and wrap to the bottom). I only posted that because I thought it was interesting.

Okay so back in the day we used to change our light alloy handlebars yearly. Any longer than that and you risked having them fail on you.
Today it's less of a risk because they're made of thicker material.

Tape? On a bike I use most days about every six months (I ride during the Winter and at night).

Some older guys I know "overwrap" their tape. They just keep adding layers until it become ridiculous.
