Spraying has it's place. That's not one of them. And no, when it comes to spraying architectural paint at its viscosity and amount of solids in the mixture, there is no free lunch AFA spray painting goes. I have every type there is from air brush to an airless rig with 50' of hose and a whip plus a pole gun.

It takes high pressure to move house paint by air or in an airless system using hydraulics to the tip.

Painting ceilings of medium size and larger is certainly easier standing on the ground with a 3 or 6' extension pole for the gun tip. It's almost as easy as holding a selfie stick.
