Our neighbor Caleb went in for ankle surgery. He’s incapacitated for a week. We’ve been getting his groceries, taking care of the chickens, etc.

Saturday we’re driving home and see a kitten in the ditch. We already have too many pets. And Caleb is too drugged up to object so he just got a cat.
