The first time, my daughter was 12 and a college senior (premed with a 4.0 average) very respectfully asked me if he could take her out. I said, "but she is only 12.,,"....he almost died. The second time I worked elsewhere...we went on an office trip with our families to a AA baseball game..a nerdy 27 year old guy who actually worked for me asked her out right in front of me. She was 14 then. Of course she was not interested....the other young guys at work teased him relentlessly after that.
