Well this year was my second time at Hershey and my first time selling which meant that I was pretty much tied to my spot. I did get to meet RoninLB, David914 and a few others and had a great time overall. It was a nice chance to spend some quality time with my brother, tmsoko, who lives outside Detroit. I sold what I needed to sell and bought a bunch of parts I needed for my Targa project. I also brought back a serious case of sunburn LOL.

I think next year the wife and I might drive up in the '66 and make a 4 day weekend out of it. She's a big fan of 356 Coupes and there where a bunch of nice ones from what I could see. I thought the buyers this year were all very nice if not a little shy. They'd ask me my price and I'd give it to them along with "I'm negotiable and you can't hurt my feelings" but many just wouldn't counter offer. In the end that was their loss because I sold most of my stuff. I even split up my Targa interior for a gentleman who just wanted the Recaros for his 968 (it was a tight fit getting them into the back of his car) I sold them and my 7 and 8 Fuchs repros for my very bottom dollar, hell the wheels went for just a little over the cost of the tires. I have few misc parts I'll probably take to Stoddard in June.

Anyway, enough rambling, I had a great time despite not getting a chacne to meet up with the group. I promise next year I'll be buying only so I can meet with you guys. Now where's that aloe vera? ouch!
