From what I remember for 86, the S2 was
the Euro 928 S (310 hp 16 valve V8) and
had ZZZ in the vin, the S3 was the US
288 hp 32 valve V8. The 86.5 had the
S4 brakes and a few other 'upgrades",
and had vin number ending in 1000 and
above.
