laggy throttle response
ok here is what i got going on now. got the car mobile finaly. took it for a test drive and noticed that when i step on the throttle (in any gear) it dogs down a bit before going sometimes stalling out. I also noticed #4 plug isnt firing. checked that by pulling off the wire while running and no change. changed out spark plugs with a new set i had laying around, the old spark plugs looked fouled and the gap was way off, compared to the pre gaped plugs i had. i started the car again with the new plugs and no change i then thought it was the wire but i pulled the wire again and checked it the idiot way by sticking my finger in the hole yep it had spark (gotta stop doing that). so im up to my next check and asking if this is what i should do...
1: I have new injectors on the way. gonna try these first see if it helps.
2: Might order new fuel filter, distributer cap and rotor, and plug wires
or just wait till i take vacation again and take my car to a mechanic that can do a full diagnostics to it.
what do you think ?
Just for the record I am never gonna mistreat my car again. too much time and money involved in fixing and replacement. sigh
