Yes, she was married to a rich republican for 20 years..and only married to Kerry for less than 10...got to know where you bread is buttered...or should I say kechupped? If you look at the things she does and supports, she is clearly a liberal.
And no, true charities know no politics...most liberal charities are really just fronts for political action. Most of what I would consider to be "true" charities have been made irrelevant and unnecessary by social welfare or "forced" charity.
