I'm not afraid of timing belts (own a 944 as well), but I'd hope that it was easier to change than the 944 belt

www.clubb5.com; reading those sites and the FAQ, I've decided to go with the 1.8T for certain. They can be upgraded to performance beyond the 6-cylinder versions for not a lot of money.
